RETURN + EXCHANGE POLICY

​At D5 Structural Supply, we aim to equip every customer with dependable materials and a smooth purchasing experience. To support that, we maintain a fair and transparent return policy that reflects the nature of construction products and industry standards.

Standard Return Window

Customers may exchange eligible items within 30 days of the purchase date, provided that:

​

  • The original receipt or digital proof of purchase is presented.

  • Items are unused, uninstalled, and in resale-ready condition.

  • Packaging, labels, and all accompanying parts or accessories are intact.

No refunds will be issued. Exchanges only. All exchanges must be processed at the same D5 location where the sale occurred.

Materials & Products That Cannot Be Returned

Because many structural materials and construction items cannot be resold once altered or opened, the following categories are final sale:

​

  • Cut materials (pipes, rebar, lumber, metal, conduit, wire, etc.)

  • Special-order, custom-order, and personalized products

  • Bulk, palletized, or wholesale-quantity orders, unless defective at pickup

  • Clearance or reduced-price items

  • Opened chemical or consumable products (adhesives, mortar mix, caulk, liquids, etc.)

  • Seasonal/holiday merchandise after the season has ended

These restrictions help ensure customer safety and maintain material quality.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item is believed to be defective or was supplied incorrectly:

​

  • Customers must report the issue within 48 hours of receiving or collecting the product.

  • D5 will evaluate the item and, if the issue is confirmed, may provide:

    • A replacement, or

    • Store credit, or

    • A refund

​

Damage caused after leaving the store, such as during transport, handling, or installation, cannot be considered for return.

Drive-Thru Pickup Responsibility

Because D5 offers a fast and efficient drive-thru experience, customers are encouraged to review and verify materials at pickup.

Once products leave the loading zone:

​

  • D5 is not liable for breakage, weather exposure, transport damage, or improper storage.

  • Only items meeting all return requirements will be considered.

Warranty Information

Some equipment and specialty tools carry manufacturer warranties.
Customers should retain their receipts for warranty support.

​

D5 can assist with warranty direction, but final decisions are made by the manufacturer—not by D5.

Proof of Purchase

Return or exchange requests cannot be processed without a valid D5 receipt or digital confirmation.
